The Glebe House, Dowth

The Glebe House

Accommodation

Country House Accommodation in the heart of the Boyne Valley. We invite you to step inside Glebe House, a fine 17th century house nestling in the countryside of the historic Boyne Valley, and far from the hectic pace of modern life. We truly are off the beaten track, along a quite country line, with the Glebe itself hidden beneath cascades of Wisteria and fragrant roses. Discover another pace of life while strolling through our gardens or enjoy a leisurely game of tennis. In the evenings pick up a book in the residents reading room, or relax by a log fire in the romantic drawing room.

It's tranquil setting makes the Glebe an ideal retreat for that intimate weekend but there is also lots to do in the immediate area such as the wonderful megalithic passage tombs of Dowth, Newgrange and Knowth. All accommodation at the Glebe is en-suite, with each room having a style of it's own.
